Beginning in August, you will find regular updates of my teaching experience in Haiti and details of the cross-cultural challenges I'm yet to encounter. I hope to use this cyberspace to reflect on what God teaches me about what's important to Him and how he wants me to be a part of it. I expect to be made humble in Haiti. I expect to discover more of God in a deeper way through my daily dependence on Him.
I want to be a Christian who endeavours to put her faith into action and I want to challenge you to do the same! I will use this blog to be a voice for the poor and needy; to present you with opportunities to pray for others and to be moved to do acts of compassion. I'm still discovering what this looks like.
